What we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us. There is no account to create, nothing to sign up for, and we do not buy contact lists.

When you use our enquiry form

Email address	To reply to your enquiry and send a quotation.
Phone number	To talk through the job, which is usually quicker than email.
Type of job	To get your enquiry to the right person here.
Your message	To understand what you need before we reply.

That is the complete list. We do not ask for anything we do not need in order to quote for your job.

When you email or telephone us

We keep the correspondence, and any contact details in it, so we can deal with your enquiry and keep a record of what was agreed.

When you become a customer

If you place an order we will also hold the details needed to carry out the work and to meet our legal obligations — delivery and installation addresses, site contacts, purchase order references, artwork you send us, and invoicing and payment records.

Our lawful basis for using it

• To answer an enquiry and prepare a quotation — because you asked us to, and because we have a legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us about work.
• To carry out an order — because it is necessary to perform our contract with you.
• To keep accounting and tax records — because we are required to by law.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not become orders — up to two years, then deleted. Sign work is often revisited, and people frequently come back to a quote months later.
• Customer and order records — for the life of our relationship with you, and afterwards where we need them for warranty, repeat work, or a dispute.
• Invoices and accounting records — six years after the end of the financial year they relate to, as UK tax law requires.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.

We use a small number of suppliers to run the business, and your information may pass through them:

We will also disclose information where the law requires it.

Other websites this page talks to

Two parts of this website load content from elsewhere. Neither one sets a cookie, but both mean the other company can see your IP address:

• Google Fonts — the typefaces used across the site are served by Google.
• OpenStreetMap — the map on our contact page is embedded from OpenStreetMap.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:

• Show you the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct anything that is wrong.
• Delete it, where we have no legal reason to keep it.
• Restrict or object to how we are using it.
• Send you a copy in a portable format, or transfer it to someone else.

If you are not happy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.

Keeping it safe

Access to enquiry and customer records is limited to the people here who need it to do their job. This website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and the date at the top.
